Philosophical rules that govern our Development

Chaos to Order: There is a certain level of organization to everything. But in order to evolve to the next level of organization, stimulus has to be obtained. The basis of creation is the introduction of new information, but to use that information there has to be a balance, if there isn't a balance then there can't be any beauty. All systematic movement in the universe strives to obtain as much stimulus as possible. And has at least some influence on every conceivable mental disorder.

Cycles: Everything runs in cycles, this includes psychological disorders because of the compromises and dynamic development associated with them. Cycles seek to reach the ultimate goal of finding a balance

Balance: The development of the mind works on the same principles that the environment works on. Therefore the mind will always work towards finding a balance internally and externally through adaptation. A balance that strives towards integrating stimulus into its functions.

Point of expansion: Every system has to have a certain level of organization before it can expand in an outward manner. This includes everything from learning, culture, society, evolution, the enviroment, internal and external development. (Just a few examples)

Our Rise to Reason (Why we are able to Reason)

1. Decreased instinctual drive + Increased interaction = learning opportunities.

2. Learning opportunities improve focus, focus allows the creation of long term goals. Long terms goals increase the quality of life. Quality of life advances society by reinforcing conscious development on a mass scale. Advanced society encourages the enforcement of rules. Repression is created as a result of these rules but are managable by the fundamental roots developed through basic interaction.

3. Repression represents the conflict between the unconscious need to gain stimulus and the conscious attempt to suppress it with the rules of society. If there is elevated conflict, the amount of repression endured can elevate the number of disorders associated with the conflict, most of which originate at crucial points of development.

4. The ability to reason was born out of repression; it was a conscious adaptation toward establishing a defence that was in direct conflict with the rules of society. There by allowing justification to govern the conscious and ultimately fulfill the needs of the unconscious. The unconscious prime directive runs contrary to the rules and order established by the new direction of society. In essence the ability to reason is a defence against mass control and it’s why they need to work together in order for everything to flourish. If the control breaks down then there is no reason to reason, instinctual drive will run wild. If the ability to reason breaks down then there is too much control and the populace will suffer causing an eventual backlash from the increased repression bringing an extreme amount of reason, perhaps a revolution. The key is finding a balance of the two.

Unconscious vs. Conscious Scale (Competing paths of mind development)

Unconscious: Instinctual drive that adapts to internal needs through external behaviour. The unconscious favours an instinctual ambitious connection to the world, although without the proper guidance, much of that ambition can remain chaotic and untapped unless some kind of focus is established. Raw unconscious thought doesn’t leave much room for error and is very pure in its origin, but if there is an underdeveloped conscious, it can intervene in the form of insecurity/lack of acceptance among peers etc and hinder its overall progress, stalling the development, creating a conflict of interest of sorts that hinders the synergy of each part working toward a common goal. As a result it contributes too many of today’s mental disorders.

Conscious: The conscious was dynamically created when stability was introduced into our development. (living in larger groups) This created the society that we live in today. The mind adapted to this new found stability and developed around it using the information cultivated from the increased level of safety to retain the current development towards structured living, effectively increasing information which in turn increased the amount of logic needed to use that information. The level of safety introduced also decreased the instinctual drive of the unconscious. Since the conscious was founded on the grounds of safety, then it would naturally favour socialization as its key development point. This created an empathetic shared connection among the people living in the new society. Now if the fundamentals are correct keeping the proper formula for healthy development in place, then it should also keep the unconscious in check. Very much like taming a wild horse.

*The medium between the two is pleasure in which one flows towards the other, or what is known as a balance. If that balance is compromised, many disorders can and do arise.

*Many of the disorders in today’s society are a direct result of the conflict between the unconscious and the conscious aimed to retain the balance of the body. The key to determining the source is looking at the problem as a dynamic balance.

Introvert vs. Extrovert Scale (Unnourished vs. Nourished mind state)

Introvert: Un-nourished cellular state that starts in the womb with emotional repression, aggression, bad diet and any variable that ether cuts off nutrition/oxygen or increases overall stimulus creating a undernourished expanded cellular state, this state showcases a underdeveloped amygdala region (controls emotion) and a overdeveloped hemisphere region where the logic is processed. This essentially reflects the mothers emotional state at the time of conception, lots of thinking, lots of emotional repression/stress etc. As a result, observation is favored over emotional output and a logical subjective point of view is cultivated toward the enviroment. Its ultimate goal is to become organized and extroverted to ensure survival, but done so through its strenghts, which may prove hard at times and especially after the key points of expansion have been surpassed. The main objective is still to obtain stimulus, but the end result differs and is not as developed. A greater sense of understanding does accompany this development phase although real world adaptations can be very limited due to the recluse behavior associated with observation. (Aspergers and autism are extreme examples of this, testosterone expands the brain, empathy gets repressed.)

Extrovert: Nourished cellular state conceived under nominal conditions, allowing an objective connection to be established with the enviroment. This state repersents an equal amount of development to the brain, and allows the unconscious and the conscious to grow and coexist with each other without too many conflicts. This type of development initally favors an empathetic connection to the enviroment, but grows into something better. A prime directive establishes itself, one that is focused on obtaining stimulus in the form of sensation/sensing in relation to the enviroment. Instead of subjectively thinking about it or feeling it.

* If the mind expansion doesn’t match the amount of external/internal stimulus received then the individual involved can become introverted and the conscious becomes dominate leaving the unconscious underdeveloped/not as developed. However without the drive and focus associated with the unconscious, very little process can be made unless the unconscious can be stimulated to match the progression of the conscious. A delicate balance must be maintained for adequate results, if not then one slowly gets repressed in favor of the other.

* Before any system can expand there has to be good underlying fundamentals. If that system is compromised in any way then that system becomes introverted to continue to cycle upon itself in an effort to become more and more structured until the fundamental base reaches a state in which it can expand, albeit obtains the stimulus and focus to connect with the world objectively, this rule can be applied to everything from evolution to business. And certainly to the expansion of the mind.

Thinking vs. Feeling Scale (Basic mind function scale .also related to Introverted vs. Extroverted Scale)

Thinking: Created in response to meet internal needs of the mind/body, dynamically evolved in response to environment/survival, stress evokes an aggressive response from the body, the brain/body responds by secreting additional hormones, additional hormone production equates to additional testosterone production, and additional testosterone means a larger brain for a child due to the expansion associated with the chemical. The brain later adapts to social life, as a result the larger brain suppresses the empathetic connection to the environment as thinking becomes the dominate function (larger hemisphere development due to testosterone expansion), this encourages an increase in logical output by males.

Feeling: Dynamically evolved when we started living in groups, also can be seen in communities of animals that live in packs(women often favor feeling as the brain develops symmetrically, as opposed to having larger hemispheres from testosterone expansion), safety increased allowing more socialization, enhancing memory and encouraging the development of a consolidated brain network, instinctual drive fell. Social roles begin to define, favouring the ability to feel in women over men.

* Thinking was created to adapt to the needs of the unconscious through the means of directed focus, later adapted to social life; feeling originated as the instinctual drive of the unconscious fell allowing the brain to consolidate, as a direct result of social life, through this new source of connection, empathy became the expression of choice among the groups of individuals living together in which language developed at key points of mental expansion, mainly in early childhood that was taught from parent to youth but expanded in both complexity and context from youth to youth as it was the most logical and favourable connection point for that age group. Both were directly created by the need to adapt to the environment or what I call cyclical systemization vs. memory development, or something called introverted vs. extroverted tendencies.

* When one is favoured the other gets slowly repressed, when they both are developed (hierarchy of needs is fulfilled) a synergy of sorts creates a new direction of mental development, Sensation/Sensing.

Sensation vs. Sensing (Direction of focus after hierarchy of needs is fulfilled, related to Thinking vs. Feeling Scale)

Thinking + Feeling = Sensation: When the hierarchy of needs is properly fulfilled, a new psychological focus is created; one that centers around socialization, pleasure and personal gain. Or what is known sensation, the subject will connect with not only the people around him, but also objectively relate to objects in the similar way. For they hold a feeling and transmit a desired image to others about who they are and what they are trying to do. Its a form of acceptance taken to the next level, to be effectively part of the mass, and to use that mass to successfully network and improve overall quality of life.

Feeling + Thinking = Sensing: The same holds true when sensing becomes the main function of the individual. Feeling is at the fore front and thinking becomes somewhat repressed allowing the individual to continually pursue interests in an extroverted manner through the overall feeling of the opportunity/interest. They can often be the life of the party and command a room full of people with ease. Sensing tends to favor women over men. The prime directive is the same, but the approach is different.

*Both paths of development are chosen by the mothers original hormonal state during the conception stage of birth which in turn affects the brain development of the child in the early stages of life. They develop with ether thinking or feeling being at the forefront of early mental development, and the other being somewhat repressed but coming out in expression when the timing is essential. They later develop into the above if the fundamental requirements are present to help the development of the mind along to reach its full potential.

Ambition vs. Security Scale (Enviromental factors which affect development, both internal and external at key points of development)

Ambition:
The roots responsible for the drive or ambition to succeed are stimulated through environment factors. Environmental factors affect the body’s chemical composition during the development stages of the child’s life and alter the mind dynamically, dynamically to the point where the mind/body will work toward finding a balance to incorporate the information received by various sources. If the hierarchy of needs is compromised during the periods of mental/physical expansion. The body becomes very "needy", in response to the internal needs not being totally catered too, and adapts accordingly to try and meet those needs by increasing the overall thinking capacity of the indivisual, essentially secreting hormones to increase logical output to solve problems (increasing brain size in all aspects). And hence the ambition of the person is intensified creating an over active unconscious. This can contribute to ADD, ADHD, Bipolar, and other disorders that have some bearings in erratic behaviour, which is later combined with repression. This form of development is chaotic for the most part if it is paired with extroverted tendencies. It tends to accentuate the chaotic nature of the unconscious and shortens the ability to think about long term goals. However if there is unified focus, ambition and emotional output can be put together nicely and work for the individual in a positive way. On the other side of the coin, if ambitious nature is coupled with introverted tendencies, it can actually help the individual become more extroverted as it forces the section of the brain called the amygdala to develop, and strengthens the social relations as emotional output intensifies allowing more social activity to take place. This often takes a lot of time and has at least some degree of success in social endeavours that allow basic acceptance to be built upon through friends and especially sexual relations.

Security: Security is provided through a healthy lifestyle and helps develop motor skills as it consolidates the brain, better memory, vivid dreams, focus and anything that has to do with concentration. Long terms goals can be envisioned and reached. There is however a compromise. A society that develops on the basis of security is more prone to various disorders that crop up when material possessions are lost. There seems to be very little ability to internally rebound, get back on the horse and harness that ambition that was perhaps lost in the youth (lack of logical hemisphere development due to lack of dynamic internal construction). Depression, Anxiety, Substance abuse etc are common mental disorders associated with the security aspect of development.

*These two aspects of mental development move toward each other, ambition attempts to obtain security in the form of wealth, stimulus and recognition. While security attempts to obtain ambition through focus, a stable job, income, networking, social independence and status.

Positive vs. Negative Scale (Thoughts which affect overall development)

Positive: Positive thoughts are probably one of the most important aspects of psychology. They not only provide a means for mental/phsical development but they also provide a way to connect with the world, expand perspective and grow as a person. Positive thoughts create confidence, its really that simple. In a way its the anti disorder remedy and is so important to the way society functions on the whole, which is becoming a really big problem in the united states/britain/canada and other parts of the world as empahisize moves away from socialization and family, exactly what the conscious was founded on. And in my opinion, can de-evolve us as a species. It also has ties into evolution and genetic mutations aswell. Positive thoughts increase the vibration cell pattern of the brain and encourage the progression of evolution (sex at the cellular level). This of course runs contrary to current belief. However this system gives a basis in which much can be explained. It explains why co-evolution seems to be such a factor in genetic mutations on the whole, simply put when life competes with one another, it adds stress to the organism, which in the simplest form is stimulus. The organism responds by intensifying all the internal processes to overcome that stress, which in response change the dynamic chemical makeup of the organism encouraging mutations to take place, not randomly mind you, but chosen out of necessity. On the flipside, positive thoughts allow internal vibrational increases without the auto response from the body. And increase the complexity of the current mutations to be more suitible for not only survival but the opposite sex aswell. And there is evidence mounting to confirm this, everything from organisms solving mathematical equations to new ideas gaining credence as new research is conducted. I have a small write up on the info section on how vibration contributes to the current theory. And it may even bring both theories of darwin evolution and intelligent design under one roof.

Negative: Negative thoughts run contradictory to the prime directive of evolution, and the unconscious responds respectively when the body’s needs are not met by increasing the internal stimulus of the body and bringing out favourable memories in order to reverse the affect that the negative thoughts are having on the body. Bulimia nervosa, self cutting among others all provide one necessity. They all offer stimulus that favour the last healthy point along the hierarchy of needs. The goal is the same, to feel what the mind is actively repressing, to reverse the negative thoughts that society has instilled in our minds and reverse the trend of living up to an exceptional high standard. They are responsible for schizophrenia, depression, substance abuse, self cutting and anything else that demands some kind of repressed release, or to acquire stimulus to compensate for the repression taking place in the mind. You have to remember that the mind wants to expand and connect with the world, but there are many factors in society that hinder that progress. It’s a shame too, because the amount of disorders is increasing at an alarming rate and until we fix the very fundamentals that cause them. It’s not going to get better but instead get much worse. It’s time to get back to the basics people.

*This system explains why the mind has been able to evolve up till this point, and why the mind looks like it is built up like blocks of lego with sections being stacked on top of one another as they evolved. Its important to realize that the big picture is much more important then the smaller one. Science provides the details but wider logic provides the path. They have to work together in order to really uncover why the mind has developed the way it did. Current theory on mind development really has its roots in selfishness, quite simply people are simply trying to make a name for themselves through linear type thought and rarely try to re-evaluate current accepted ideas. Sometimes you have to go back to your roots to go forward. This not only holds true for some aspects of science but society in general.

Alcohol/Substance abuse: Unconscious vs. Conscious Scale/Positive vs. Negative Scale - Body’s natural attempt to return to/obtain high point in stimulus in order to restore balance to the mind, caused by negative thoughts. Anything that removes the conflict of real world problems is favourable to the prime directive of evolution, to gain stimulus. That’s why it is so important to raise your children under good conditions. So they can continue to expand their mind in a positive way. (More info)

Alzheimers: Thinking vs. Feeling Scale/Positive vs. Negative Scale - Faltering of the mind, resembles diabetes but of the mind. (More info)

Anorexia Nervosa: Thinking vs. Feeling /Positive vs. Negative - Direct criticism during mental expansion affecting perceived acceptance, this creates a re-occurring insecurity through idea relation which ends up affecting overall quality of life. This disorder is a direct result of tarnished information when many ideas are being formed about the world. It’s very hard to reverse if the fundamental roots of good development is not there to guide the developing mind down the right path. Good family orientation tends to tackle the problem before it even gets started. (More info)

Anxiety disorder: Unconscious vs. Conscious Scale/Ambition vs. Security scale - An incident or memory being repressed that is trying to come to the surface. The conscious then actively represses the unconscious need to release it. Leading the body feeling anxious for a release as a conflict of interest is taking place internally. (More info)

Autism: Introvert vs. Extrovert/Thinking vs. Feeling - The secretion of testosterone creates superficial cellular expansion in the brain, this expansion creates an overactive conscious and a underactive unconscious. Expanded larger hemispheres from increased hormone production, underdeveloped amygdala region caused by repression, essentially the two go hand in hand and one affects the other. Hormone production is stimulated by adverse enviromental events/conception process of birth which is followed by repression. The hormonal state of the mother is naturally passed on to the womb and influences the development on the child in a negative manner. As a result the child favours extreme observational learning which reflects the state of the mothers development. (More info)

Aspergers: Introvert vs. Extrovert /Thinking vs. Feeling - Superficial cellular expansion after birth. Ability to respond to emotion is compromised. Emotion is received but not given back in equal manner. Meaning the hemisphere region isnt as large and un-norished as in full blown autism, but the amygdala is still somewhat underdeveloped, leaving the child somewhat emotionally crippled to respond normally. (More info)

ADD: Unconscious vs. Conscious Scale - Unstable conditions stimulate the unconscious(above brain stem from the body, amygdala), conscious supresses negative stimulus, consolidates in the unconscious, creates chemical imbalance in the unconscious as it stays more active then the rest of the mind. Mainly caused by overactive family life, enviromental conditions, lack of father to keep the unconscious in check (child cant view mother as a giver and an authority figure, there has to be two parents) And anything else that would promote aggressive behavior during the mental expansion stages of life. (More info)

Bipolar: Thinking vs. Feeling Scale/Ambition vs. Stability Scale - Imbalance in pituitary gland, hormone production becomes lopsided in other glands, pituitary imbalance created by erratic emotional states usually brought on by enviromental conditions. Affects much more women then men due to it being an emotional disorder. There are suppliments to correct the imbalance so normal bodily functions can return to a nominal state. (More info)

Bulimia Nervosa: Unconscious vs. Conscious scale/Positive vs. Negative scale/Thinking vs. Feeling scale - Eating is a source of stimulus in youth, social acceptance to the outside world is tarnished repressing the unconscious stagnating social development, unconscious begins to fight back returning to its primative youth looking for a favorable source of stimulus. Food is used to offset the negative thoughts. Guilt sets in once again repressing the unconscious. This creates a cycle of positive/negative stimulus. (More info)

Depression: Positive vs. Negative scale/Unconscious vs. Conscious/Thinking vs Feeling scale - Negative thoughts lead to deregulated seritonin/dopamine brain receptors. Mind equalizes as a lack of stimulus hinders overall recovery. Mind stays in a depressed state. In order to recover from depression, you have to find someway to boost the unconscious. You have to formulate long term goals and reignite the ambition side of your personality, by doing that you realign yourself mentally with the prime directive of evolution, the mind rebalances allowing you to come out of a depressed state. Exercise also helps along the process by offering physical stimulus. But overall mentality is king when dealing with depression. Linked to other disorders designed to boost stimluss. (More info)

OCD: Introverted vs. Extroverted Scale/Unconscious vs. Conscious scale - Introverted tendencies focused around the security of the indivisual. An introverted indivisual obsesses over the logical design of their surroundings. Its an attempt to move toward an extroverted mentality. Every system has to reach a certain point of organization before it can expand outward. An outward mentality is essentially a concentrated dose of focus, focus is essentially design. Design is at the heart of security. OCD often deals with one aspect of a person's life as the other parts can be very successful, and is most often linked with a lone incident that the mind was never able to come to terms with. As a result idea relation begins to attach itself to the one event and routine of systematic daily activities develop to help the person coup with the incident as a security measure against the insecurity.(More info)

Panic disorder: Unconscious vs. Consious scale/Ambition vs Security scale /Thinking vs Feeling scale - Weak conscious breaks down and allows unconscious memories dealing with an event to come to the surface (located in the amygdale), panic sets in as emotion overwhelms the reasoning variable of the conscious. (More info)

PTS: Ambition vs Security scale /Thinking vs Feeling scale - In the event of something overly shocking happening to the mind. The stimulus associated with an event is so great that it threatens certain instincts creating an on the fly conflict. The mind as a result is looking for an immediate release to restore the balance but the stimulus endured is large to say the least. Huge memory/stimulus of the event become repressed by the conscious, but end up being forced to the surface by the unconscious as the stimulus is too large to be fully repressed, the conscious try’s to perform a timed release solution due to the great shock associated with the incident, conflict ensues creating anxiety. The best way to try and overcome PTS is exposure, trying to come to terms with the event, so it is completely accepted by the conscious and the conflict is allowed to dissipate from repression. Linked to panic disorder and anxiety disorder. (More info)

Schizophrenia Introverted vs. Extroverted scale/Unconscious vs. Conscious scale/Thinking vs Feeling scale/ Positive vs. Negative thought scale - Unconscious need to express oneself is repressed by thoughts of systemization, insecurity and paranoia (all of which deal in security) in an effort to balance the reasoning. Repression occurs, but after a while the repression begins to break down as the negative thoughts take a toll on the minds ability to cope. Emotional eruptions begin to come to the surface, unconscious takes over, fights to restore mental balance and perform a needed release of emotion. Unconscious gains control until balance is restored. Conscious takes back over, thoughts begin to re-occur forming a consistent cycle of repression and repression release. (More info)
